THE RESTORE HUNTINGTON PROJECT

This page is dedicated to the efforts needed to save our beloved Town of Huntington.  What do we mean by save?  The current Town of Huntington Board is dominated by Democrats whose only objectives are to increase their power, silence dissent, and make poor choices impacting the quality of life in Huntington.  Above are the sights of the last days of Huntington Station – a once vibrant village which fell victim to the wrecking ball.

It started back in the 1960′s under the auspices of so-called “Urban Renewal” which led the the destruction of a vibrant downtown Huntington Station.  It continues through today with the proposed Avalon Bay project slated for Huntington Station.  With only one voice of opposition to these destructive plans, the Town Board proceeds as they please with their approval of Avalon Bay despite cries for environmental studies and impacts on our schools, roads and infrastructure.  No sane person would approve such a folly and the fact that our concerns have been ignored have led us to this path.  We hope you will help us in this effort to Restore Huntington to its once vibrant place for raising families in a bucolic suburban setting.
